A local-first, autonomous AI workforce system that monitors communications, operates ERP software, orchestrates social channels, and drafts CEO briefings.
System Overview & Architecture
Built for an advanced AI agent hackathon, this flagship project models an autonomous Digital Full-Time Employee (FTE). The agent connects directly to multi-channel communication streams (Gmail, LinkedIn, WhatsApp), interacts with an Odoo ERP instance to record business operations, schedules and publishes across social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter), and compiles executive-level weekly audit briefs. Designed with rigorous Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) approval protocols for high-stakes actions and powered by a custom Model Context Protocol (MCP) server.
Technical Challenges Addressed
- •Integrating disparate APIs (Gmail, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Odoo ERP) under a unified agent orchestration loop.
- •Safeguarding against hallucinated or unauthorized external actions without sacrificing agent autonomy.
- •Developing a custom Model Context Protocol (MCP) server capable of exposing local tools reliably to the LLM agent.
Engineering Solutions & Implementation
- •Architected an event-driven agent loop with structured state machines and audit logging.
- •Engineered an interactive approval gateway requiring cryptographic or one-click administrator verification before sending emails or updating ERP entries.
- •Implemented an extensible Python MCP server exposing typed tools for cross-platform automation.
